More than 60,000 people in Philadelphia practice Islam, so it stands to reason that many teachers in the Philadelphia area instruct Muslim students. However, non-Muslim educators might struggle with how best to support (and learn from) their students, especially during events and festivals like Ramadan. Please join us on March 7, 2024, for a seminar and workshop on how to address these topics, featuring speakers from the Council of American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) Philadelphia Chapter, and a takeaway classroom activity created by Al-Bustan Seeds of Culture, a Philadelphia organization that promotes the celebration of Arab culture.

As always, dinner will be provided and Act 48 credits are available. Parking vouchers included upon request. We hope to see you there!
