Description | Wooden right hand in abhaya mudra with palm open and out, and with fingers and thumb close together. Broken off at forearm just at the beginning of Buddha's robe. Tongue joint at end of forearm. Black lacquered and gilded surface with magic mark/flower on palm, rings on all four finger and bracelets consisting of molded lacquer, glass inlay and star sapphires (?). Probably 18th century |
