Description | Sommerville: Chalcedony-Onyx - Lysimachus without the horn of Jupiter Ammon. Greek and Roman Cameos, Case L. Vermeule: Chalcedony-Onyx. Cameo. (Unmounted). Diademed bust of a Hellenistic ruler or Roman Emperor facing to right. Broken on sides and bottom and remounted on glass. The feautres are very like those of the Emperor Claudius. Graeco-Roman. |
