Description

Section of floor and rim of dish. Rim is meerly upward rounding of floor. It seems possible that the piece was covered with white on both sides and that the much worn remaining black glaze decoration was put on on top of it. The only certainly discernible decoration is a simple guilloche band on the floor just within the rim. Brown and russet clay in layers.
