Description | Pottery; mended and restored; fabric of medium fine texture, buff at core, outer surface red. Wheelmade. Pattern: creamy white; on concave surface, groups of transverse lines on rim, in center, now effaced, disc of white, surrounded by white circles (?). On convex surface 4 groups of concentric circles, compass drawn, 3 to a group and alternating with 4 groups of parallel chevrons. Bands of white within and without base ring and on the upright surface next rim. On rim zigzag. Two string holes. |
