Description

Made from a nut, like 37-22-197 but larger. The wooden handle and peg are inserted in holes and held in place by a resinous substance. The sound produced by the spinning top, resembles that made by the whistle, 37-22-197; hence the same name. Each end of the string is passed through a hole in a short piece of wood and knotted to keep these on the string. The nut has three perforations round the circumference.
