Description | Pottery. Badly broken. Fabric and technique like MS 846, but outer surface black with red mottling. Fine parallel cross striations on unpolished interior, made, perhaps, by wiping with a cloth. Two lines of rope pattern above fluted shoulder like MS834. White lines on handle and rim and on floor of vase a cross and four swastikas. |
