Description:
Complete except for one fluke. Large ring at end of shank above. Small ring at end of shank below. Stock, shank, flukes, and arms.

"The Victor Merlo Collection of ancient nautical iron artifacts, dated presumably, recovered from the waters of Naples Bay about 1897 to 1902" by Gennaro Matini. "All the pieces were part of the equipment of a Roman galley which burned before it sank to the bottom"
