Description | Poncho of black wool with embroidered rectangles in a checkerboard arrangement. Central design of stylized birds in black, yellow, green and dark red on red ground; white throats. Embroidered border around neckslit and around entire garment, with the exception of narrow bar at side above two diagonally opposite corners. Design on border of stylized birds, alternately reversed, with tiny birds in spaces. Narrow needle knitted edge and very short fringe. Original number lost. |
