Description | Vermeule: Agate in Pink and Brown. Intaglio. (Unmounted) Herakles kneeling to right, in act of roping the Cretan Bull. His lionskin appears behind him and a terminal figure of Dionysos and Ariadne fills the background. Neo-Classic, in good imitation of ancient style. |
