Description

Tube skirt (bidang). Cotton. Wide central panel red with supplementary weft (sungkit) design of zigzags and paired scrolls in dark blue and white. White thread is shiny: may not be cotton. Striped borders, including bands of alternating small red, black and natural squares. Tube has been unsewn and opened out.
