Description | Pottery. Mended. Fabric of fine texture, red throughout covered completely with cream slip. Wheel-made. Decoration in brick red; below a band at rim, a pair of birds on obverse and reverse between groups of fine, perpendicular lines; on lower part of vase horizontal bands of varying width. Transverse lines on handles. 8-spoked wheel with solid center on base. |
