Description

Black slip jug; Complete; not mended; rim chipped; fabric rotted and flaking; slip mostly worn off. Ring base; depressed ovoid body with greatest diameter toward center of belly; tall wide neck; tightly pinched rim; vertical handle from rim to shoulder. Incised horizontal lines encircling shoulder; thin shallow flutes on body, carelessly executed.
