Description:
Repaired pail with loops for bail. Conical with slow taper to base. Short incurving neck running from rounded shoulder to simple tube rim (bronze of neck is curved over core). Two bail loops fixed by rivets, as is situla wall - jointed by verticle AE band and 7 rivets. Base is deeply recessed with slight central raised area. Join with wall is masked by rounded moulding, which serves as foot. bronze, sheet
