Description | Pattern-conventionalized bird in diamond. Brown and white Fragment of plain weave with embroidery. The ground plain weave is most likely cotton. Woven design. Diamond patterned embroidery. Color of embroidery is brown, but also in localized areas yellow and possibly red. One bound edge. Catalogue card identifies the embroidery design as "conventionalized bird in diamond". Color(s): Off-white, brown, yellow and red (?). |
