Description | Low ring foot. Ovoid body, profile continuous from foot to outer edge of trefoil lip. Handle with central rib. Closely spaced reeding, vertical, carefully executed, from a point above lower attachment of handle to lower wall; around entire body except for a vertical band below one side of handle. Two stalks of wheat in applied clay, once gilded, around neck, crossing in front. Intact save for missing bit of lip. Excellent black glaze over all except resting surface and underside of foot. |
