Description | "Chinook" or "Southern Sea-going type". Pointed ends, prow projecting forward and upward, stern vertical and raised above level of gunwales. Groove for whaling harpoon on top of prow. Shape of prow suggests animal's head. Unpainted. -361 horizontal ridge at this point. |
