Description | Globular body, short neck with everted lip, two handles from shoulder to neck. With textile pattern Narrow-necked jar/bottle with a squat-globular body, flaring neck, missing rim, 2 strap handles extending from the neck to the body, and a rounded base. No molded/modeled additions. The upper section of the vessel is painted with a geometric design in white and red. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is orange in color. Fireclouding is present on the body. The catalogue number is written on the bottom of the base and black ink on the bottom of the base reads: "1116." |
