Description | Gilded wood figure of Buddha standing with right hand down at side and left arm bent at the elbow. Left hand and part of the forearmis missing. Hair consists of incised cross hatching. Ears are large with lobes touching shoulders. Robes are in open mode with right shoulder bare. Robe extends down along each side of figure in long flap. Flap over left shoulder extends to the waist in front and down the length of the robe in black. Waist band in similar design to the flap over the shoulder. |
