Description:
Lion. Brownish patina with lime incrustations. Right front paw is broeken off. Hollow cast forepart of lion is smooth at the back edge where it would have been attached to a piece of furniture. Its head is turned slightly to the right, and its mouth is open. Modeling of face, the preserved paw, and the mane is in high relief.
