Description

Formed of stamped clay plaques, painted and gilded. All represent Vishnu; all three seem to have been made in the same mold but the outer panels have been cut down. Central one has side scenes showing Krishna (left) and Lakshmi (right). Lower corners show (left) Marasimha Avatar, (right) Vishnu sleeping under the head of the serpent Sesshu. In wooden case with glass.
