Description

Similar to MS4615.2 but fabric pink (5 YR 7/4-6/60 with a paler surface, covered with weak red (10 YR 4/4) paint. Added white: band on rim; rising double arcs of dots bounded by bands. East Cretan White-on-dark Ware. For this motif on bridge-spouted jars see Kaiser 1976: pl. 3, no. 8 (site unknown); Bosanquet and Dawkins 1923: pl. 2g (Palaikastro).
