Description

Rim-sherd from a cup with a rim spout. Fine, light red (2.5 YR 6/6) clay, covered with pink slip on the exterior, with decoration in red paint. Burnished. Interior painted. Band of large dots at rim, above band; toroise-shell ripple. Comments: MM III-LM I. Marked "ghem A," in Greek. From Deposit A. For the deposit see Silverman 1978 a: 162-163; Soles 1979A: 152.
