Description | Red and white striped warp faced plain weave cotton; bird motif embroidered with red and purple cotton thread. Two breadths joined by silk thread. Neck also finished with silk thread. [aqua and shades of purple]. As per Sigrid, "Warp: 50, 3 ply white and red cotton. Weft: 16, 3 ply, white cotton. Warp faced plain weave. Made on a backstrap loom." |
