Description

Spear with a long, thin blade that flattens sharply toward the edges. The upper and lower ends of the wooden spear shaft are wrapped with light-colored leather. The bottoms of these wrappings have sleeves of woven, brown leather while the upper end below the blade has a woven sleeve of light-colored basketry and black leather. The center of the shaft is wrapped with red cloth over a layer of dark blue cloth. The butt end terminates in a metal ferrule with an elongated, flattened end with that widens toward the beginning and end with a narrow middle section.
