Description | Spear with a wide, socketed blade angled toward the base. The blade has a thin, medial ridge. The wooden spear shaft has thin, longitudinal lines incised along its length. A short coil of thick, copper-colored metal wire is wrapped below the blade socket. Other sections of the shaft are wrapped with alternating coils of thick, copper-colored metal wire and bronze-colored metal wire. Between two of these sections is a raised section of wood carved with four sections of lattice design. The butt end terminates in a short ferrule that expands to a wide disc halfway down and has a flat, circular end. |
