Description | Cylindrical basket with an inverted bottom. Decorated with upper and lower bands of false embroidery in "track of the land otter" patterns in light brown and orange. Central band of "winding" or "tying" patterns in light and dark brown against an orange background. Technical notes: twined, close twined, two-strand, three-strand, wrapped weft ("false embroidery"). 9 warps and 14 wefts per square inch. |
