Description

Vermeule: Carnelian. Intaglio. (Broken and set in modern gilt ring setting) Jugate bust to right, of an elderly bearded man with fillet in hair and a woman beyond him. Perhaps representing Priam and Hecuba, but man's features resemble those of a Hellenistic ruler. Graeco-Roman.
