Description

Plaid sarong (tembe paleka). All Bimanese wear sarongs in the home and many use them for everyday street wear as well. Most common are plaid sarongs, worn by both sexes. This example is predyed synthetic. Made in 1982 in Rasa Na0e, Bima Town. Green, with red/pink/blue plaid. Back panel reddish. Red and blue border stripes.
