Description | Cloak beads from the upper body of the lady Pu-Abi. collar made of triangular lapis lazuli and gold beads and gold and lapis lazuli biconical beads. Four strands below collar of lapiz lazuli, gold and carnelian tube beads. 86 strings run vertically. -23 beads, beginning and ending with lapis. Inbetween the lapis beads are alternating agate and carnelian beads. that is, L-A-L-C-L-A-L-C-L-A-L-C-L-A-L-C-L-A-L-C-L-A-L. All 12 lapis beads are squat biconical. The 6 agate are all barrel with slightly tappered ends. and the 5 carnelian are all barrel-biconical. CBS17046 is written on the 5th lapis bead from the top |
