Description

Complete and mended. Wheelmade. Low base ring; slightly concave flaring sides to plain rim with semi-cylindrical lip. Comparable to, but not identical with Sjoqvist, _Problems_, 56, Type 1a. An almost exactly similar bowl occurs at Troy (W. Dorpfeld, _Troja und Ilion_, Athens, 1902, 292; _Troy_ III, Pl. 309). Clay: light gray-green with dark sand; heavy fabric.
