Description | 589 (P. Betancourt's 1991 publication) Conical bowl with concave profile, with one vertical handle; three legs. Medium textured, reddish yellow (5 YR 6/6) clay, covered with weak red (10R 4/4) paint, darker on exterior of vessel, with decoration in added white (poorly preserved) paint. Completely painted, inside and out. Added white: double pendent semicircles in interior, around rim. One leg and minor sherd missing, otherwise intact; surface eroded. Compare Hawes et al. 1908: pl. 2, no. 25 (Gournia). Tripod. |
