South Street is One Way WestboundThe South Street Bridge is CLOSED for reconstruction, scheduled to re-open in Fall 2010. Access is blocked from Convention Avenue and 27th Street, including the on-and-off ramps connecting South Street and I-76.  Find out more on the South Street Bridge Website.

As of July 21, 2010, Convention Avenue will resume with 2-way traffic and motorists will once again be allowed to turn left from Convention Avenue onto South Street westbound.

Eastbound traffic is still NOT permitted on South Street at 33rd Street, except for designated Museum deliveries and bus traffic.

Penn Museum is located at 3260 South Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104 at the intersection of Spruce Street and 33rd Street. Nearby landmarks include Franklin Field, across South Street, and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, across 34th Street.

The Warden Garden "Main Entrance" is located across the street from Franklin Field on South Street, closest to 33rd Street. This entrance is not wheelchair accessible.
The Stoner Courtyard Entrance is on South Street.
The Kress Entrance is for buses and groups. It is on South Street, closest to Convention Avenue.
