Teacher Workshops, typically held on Saturdays from 9am - 3pm, are interactive lecture and craft workshops designed by Museum staff and co-sponsors. Professional Development Days, typcially held during a school day, are tailored by principals or school districts to fulfill specific curriculum needs. Both programs are designed to fulfill Act 48 and New Jersey Professional Development credits. Educator Evenings allow teachers the opportunity to network with fellow educators. Educators browse Penn Museum's current exhibitions and learn how Penn Museum programming can supplement classroom curriculum.

Get a glimpse of the daily lives of the drug addicted homeless as you explore Penn Museum’s newest exhibit Righteous Dopefiend: Homelessness, Addiction, and Poverty in Urban America. Learn how area youth use art to challenge people’s negative perceptions of “bad” Philadelphia communities. Meet advocates for tolerance and social health who have explored sensitive topics with students. Learn how you can discuss social issues, such as homelessness, poverty, and drug abuse, in the classroom. Participate in a hands-on art project facilitated by MYX: Multicultural Youth eXchange. Co-sponsored by Camden County College.
