The Roman Mosaics of Tunisia

The country of Tunisia lays claim to
the largest number of Roman mosaics
in the world. Dr. Nezib ben Larreg, of
the Institut National du Patrimoine in
Tunisia, will provide a review of Tunisian
mosaics, many of which depicted
elements of daily life, culture, and
religion of the Roman Empire, as well
as natural scenes of the time.
