Description

Afternoon Lecture
Tutankhamun's Father
Dr. James P. Allen, Brown University, will discuss one of the key questions
of ancient Egyptian history, the relationship of the "boy-king"
Tutankhamun to his predecessor, the "heretic" pharaoh Akhenaton, and
the Amarna royal family. Drawing on both the well-established data and new
findings from the study of DNA, this talk presents one possible solution to
the historical mystery. Sponsored by the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American
Research Center for Egypt (ARCEPA).

Admission:$5; $3 Penn Museum members and PennCard holders; FREE for ARCE-PA members.
