Penn Museum collaborated with Native Americans of the Hopi, Zuni, Navajo, and Apache nations to select the artifacts and tell the stories about these four peoples who live in the open landscape of the American Southwest--and who prize a sacred and cultural connection with their environment. An Apache tipi and a Navajo hooghan framework attest to diverse ways of living. A Hopi bridal outfit, Zuni turqoise jewelry, and Apache playing cards are among the more than 300 objects from the Museum's archaeological and ethnographic Southwest collections that offer insight into the history and traditions of these native peoples.

This is a public tour and it is included in general Museum admission. Advance reservations are not required.
