The Young Friends of the Penn Museum is a group of active members ages 21 to 45, with a mission to raise awareness of the Penn Museum among the area’s young professionals and graduate students; help to attract new young members to the Penn Museum; and to support and promote the Penn Museum’s mission through a variety of social, educational, and fundraising activities.

Join the Young Friends of the Penn Museum on a journey through time and around the world!
Grab your friends and head over to the Penn Museum on May 2nd for the Magical History Tour, a scavenger-hunt-style quest that will challenge and enlighten even the most well-travelled visitors. Compete in teams of four to make your way through the Museum, seeking clues to help you unlock some of our galleries' greatest mysteries. Play for prizes, gift certificates, and bragging rights while enjoying drinks with friends and colleagues amongst our most celebrated and notorious artifacts.
Register with friends as a group of four, or come on your own and be paired with other Young Friends members! Admission is $8 for members, $10 for non-members, and $30 for a team of four. Event includes cash bar and appetizers.

Check out photos from Lords of Tequila, a tutored tequila tasting and visit to MAYA 2012: Lords of Time. 
Prostitution Ancient and Modern: A Tell-All Confession, a lively discussion of prostitution in ancient Turkey and its modern scholarship with Dr. Nick Rauh of Purdue University.
Vampires, Demons, and Mystical Creatures in the Ancient World, a discussion of monsters in ancient Egypt and the Mediterranean followed by cocktail hour and the opening of Fang! The Killing Tooth.
Wined Through History, a scavenger hunt through the Museum’s galleries paired with a wine tasting featuring wines from various regions in corresponding galleries.
