A new display at the Penn Museum features "Art from the Archives: Northwest Coast and Inuit Prints and Drawings." Comprised of artwork from our archives, this installation offers colorful views into the lives of this region's indigenous people.
This special selection of artwork was organized and installed by Museum intern Leanna Kolonauski. The prints were all created during and after the 1950's, offering a view into contemporary indigenous lifestyles, as well as into the age-old traditions conveyed in these works.
You can find out more about this colorful collection of artwork in Ms. Kolonauski's blog post.
