How to Get Here
In an effort to encourage green ways of getting to the Museum, we have installed brand new bike racks at the Daniel G. Kamin entrance. We're also conveniently located across from the University City Regional Rail station.
Penn Museum is located at 3260 South Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104 at the intersection of Spruce Street and 33rd Street. Nearby landmarks include Franklin Field, across South Street, and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, across 34th Street. Click here to get directions on Penn's website.
Museum Entrances
The Daniel G. Kamin Entrance is located across the street from Franklin Field on South Street, closest to 33rd Street. This entrance is not wheelchair accessible.
The Stoner Courtyard entrance is on South Street.
The Kress Entrance is for buses and groups. It is on South Street, closest to Convention Avenue.
Public Transportation
SUBWAY - SURFACE TROLLEY LINES (Green Line):
11, 13, 34 and 36, to 33rd and Chestnut/Walnut Streets, and 37th and Spruce Streets.
BUSES
21 (stops at 33rd and Walnut/Chestnut Streets)
42, 30 (stops at 33rd and Spruce Streets)
40 (stops at South Street and Convention Ave - right in front of the Museum!)
REGIONAL RAIL
The University City Station is located across Convention Avenue from the Penn Museum. The Airport, Marcus Hook/Wilmington/Newark and Media/Elwyn Lines make stops at this station. 30th Street Station is a short walk to the Penn Museum as well as the 34th Street exit of the Market-Frankford subway.

Directions by Car
To the Penn Museum Entrance/Penn Tower Parking Garage/ Lot 7 Parking Garage:
Penn Museum's address is 3260 South Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
From PA Turnpike (eastbound to Philadelphia)
Take the Valley Forge exit to I-76 East (Schuylkill Expressway.) Keep right at the fork and continue toward University Avenue. Take the South Street Exit (Exit 346A). Turn left onto the South Street Bridge. The Museum will be on your immediate left.
From New Jersey Turnpike (westbound to Philadelphia)
Take Exit 3 to Walt Whitman Bridge to I-76 West (Schuylkill Expressway) to Valley Forge. Take the South Street Exit (Exit 346A). Turn right onto the South Street Bridge. The Museum will be on your immediate left.
From I-95 Southbound
Exit at 676 West (Vine Street Expressway). Merge onto I-76 East (towards Airport). Take the South Street Exit (Exit 346A). Turn right onto the South Street Bridge. The Museum will be on your immediate left.
From I-95 Northbound
Past Philadelphia International Airport, follow signs to 1-76 West (Schuylkill Expressway) to Valley Forge. Take the South Street Exit (Exit 346A). Turn left onto the South Street Bridge. The Museum will be on your immediate left.
From Center City Philadelphia
Take the Walnut Street Bridge to 34th Street and turn left on 34th Street. Turn left on Spruce which turns into South Street. The Museum will be on your right.

Parking
Please be advised, parking is extremely limited during weekdays. 
1) Garage 7, located at the corner of South Streets and Convention Avenue, just east of the Penn Museum. Parking can be limited with garage filling early—usually by 7:30 am, some spots reopening after 10:30 am.
Regular Daily Rate (no discounts offered): $21 Monday through Friday, Early morning to 5:00 pm.
Evening and Weekend Rate (except for special event parking days): $11 after 5:00 pm.
Special Event Parking: (including annual Penn Relays, other Penn Athletics Programming). Special event parking prices differ from everyday prices.
2) The Penn Tower Parking Garage, adjacent to the Museumhas limited parking.
3) Lot 37 at 34th and Chestnut Streets is available Monday through Friday. Lot 37 is closed on weekends.
4) Other pay lots are in the vicinity and metered parking is available on some streets nearby.
The following lots are available to the public after 5:00 PM during the week for a $7.00 flat rate:
- Lot 19 – 34th & Chestnut ($8.00 flat rate on weekends)
- Lot 23 – 38th & Sansom ($7.00 flat rate on weekends)
- Lot 39 – 33rd & Ludlow ($8.00 flat rate on weekends)

Campus Park and Ride
Visitors are encouraged to park at the Campus Park and Ride at 1600 South Warfield Street. Parking is FREE on weekends.
