Young Friends Program

Join the Penn Museum Young Friends to receive invitations to exciting events designed specifically for young professionals and graduate students, PLUS all of the exciting benefits of regular Penn Museum Membership.

The Young Friends of the Penn Museum is a group of active members ages 21 to 45, with a mission to raise awareness of the Penn Museum among the area’s young professionals and graduate students; help to attract new young members to the Penn Museum; and to support and promote the Penn Museum’s mission through a variety of social, educational, and fundraising activities.

Recent events have included:

· Mummy Dearest, a cocktail party and murder mystery performance by the theater group “Without a Cue” followed by a competition where guests worked in teams to solve the crime.

· Wined Through History, a scavenger hunt through the Museum’s galleries paired with a wine tasting featuring wines from various regions in corresponding galleries.

· Sex and the (Ancient) City and Ancient Girls Gone Wild, Valentine’s Day-themed happy hours and discussions of love, sex, and eroticism in the ancient worlds.
