And So the Story Goes...Innovations in Storytelling

Fiona Jensen-Hitch studies a Cochiti storyteller figure from the exhibition, purchased for the Museum collection in 1999.

Each year the Museum’s Student Exhibition Internship Program provides an opportunity for three Penn students to partner with staff from Exhibitions, Collections, and Academic Engagement. During the 2017–18 academic year, Braden Cordivari, Fiona Jensen-Hitch, and Linda Lin developed And So the Story Goes…Innovations in Storytelling to reflect the Provost’s Year of Innovation. This colorful exhibition highlights 15 objects that they chose from the Museum’s collections to explore storytelling across time and cultures.
