Williamina Meyer de Schauensee and cheetah cub in Southwest Africa (now Namibia). The photo was taken in 1930 as part of the Academy of Natural Sciences Ornithological Expedition. Williamina and her husband Rodolphe traveled Southwest Africa and the Bechuanaland Protectorate (now Namibia and Botswana) looking for bird specemins, and kept an album of their adventures.
