Join us for a day of vibrant traditions, inspiring performances, and family fun at Afro Culture Preservation Council’s (ACPC) 41st annual Kwanzaa Celebration. Connect with community, celebrate African American culture, and create lasting memories with your family.
Celebrate the magic of Kwanzaa with holiday activities for the whole family, in a joyful celebration that honors African heritage and community. Enjoy captivating performances including a powerful drumming procession from Karen Smith Drumming, lively dance from the African American Stilt Ballet, and cultural storytelling with Black Boys Makin’ Noise. Learn about Kwanzaa principles like unity, self determination and creativity through engaging, hands-on activities at the Children’s Village. Experience meaningful traditions with a vibrant opening ceremony and join in an interactive candle lighting ceremony that brings each principle of Kwanzaa to life. Plus, handmade Zawadi gifts for all!
