Join these 60-minute sessions—perfect for elementary to middle school kids—to dig deeper into world cultures, archaeology, or anthropology with demonstrations of hands-on projects you can try at home!
Learn about one of Mexico’s best-known traditions: “The Day of the Dead.” See how the riches of the country’s geography connect to the deep meaning of this holiday’s traditional altars, while discovering the symbolism of each element. This workshop concludes with a craft activity, related to the festival, and a reading of poetry in Nahuatl, the language of the powerful Aztecs.
