Join us to learn about a traditional painting process popular in Mesoamerica. Travel through Mexico and Central America as we explore beautiful frescoes, or paintings, that adorn buildings and artifacts throughout the region. Watch as a local artist teaches the process of preparing the painting surface with sand, lime, and water before a fresco is created. Learn how to replicate this basic technique and design your own fresco with the group! Best for kids ages 5-12.
