Let us do the planning as you take a virtual trip through time and across continents. Learn more about ancient and world cultures through live virtual interactive workshops and hands-on making activities. This special event series is open to all home learners, pods, K-12 students, and K-12 classrooms.

Learn more about the cultural traditions of Indigenous peoples living across North and Central America. Hear from Carlos José Pérez Sámano, Global Guide at the Penn Museum, about greca escalonada, a special design found in Mesoamerican art. And get hands-on during a session about the meaning and making of wampum in North America.

Each Virtual Passport theme day includes two 45-minute live virtual sessions scheduled at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. Registrants also gain access to a virtual classroom space full of digital activities, videos, and articles to further explore the theme throughout the day. Each student will receive a Virtual Passport worksheet to keep track of where you have “traveled” during each session.

Programs will be held in a webinar format that offers an easy one-click connection to share in your classroom or with your learners joining remotely.
