When we think of globalization, we often think it is a modern phenomenon. But what about globalization in ancient times? Beginning with a peek into the lives of present-day high school students in China, participants will explore how western culture exists alongside Chinese norms. Next, take a historical journey to the Silk Road to examine the exchange of ideas that took place thousands of years ago and their impact on societies throughout Asia and the world.
