Every Tuesday, join these 30-minute sessions—perfect for kids in elementary to middle school—to dig deeper into world cultures, archaeology, and anthropology with demonstrations of hands-on projects you can try at home!

Discover what life was like in ancient Mesopotamia through the study of cylinder seals. These tiny stone artifacts are the earliest known signatures, with names and images that tell us about the identities of ancient people. Students will create their own cylinder seal registers using pictures to represent what makes them unique.

Recommended Materials: Paper and pencils, crayons, or markers.
