Start or maintain a morning exercise routine at a manageable pace. Ideal for beginners, the Museum Mile helps people of all ages to get moving through the Museum’s galleries with a staff member. Stroll along a one-mile indoor walk through history before the Museum officially opens for the day. Get in 2,000 steps as you take a journey through time; pass by stone pharaohs of Egypt, Buddhist sculptures of China, Etruscan battle armor, and more. Enter through the Group (Kress) Entrance on the east side of the Museum. Don’t forget to bring-your-own-mug for $1 coffee at the Pepper Mill Café for a refreshing, relaxing treat at the end of your walk.
